Salary: £15,500.00 to £17,000.00 /year


We’re working with a dynamic and forward-thinking Nursery in Manchester that prides itself on having highly-skilled/knowledgeable Nursery Practitioners who enable all children to make good progress. The Nursery is looking for an experienced or very ambitious Nursery Practitioner to deliver activities in line with the EYFS framework, be able to make learning fun and engaging as well as encourage exploration through play. They may be required to participate in planning meetings with the room leader and provide on-going feedback on the children’s progress.

The Nursery adopts the philosophy that a child’s early years are their ‘Preparation for Life’ and will provide all aspects of the child’s development.

Requirements for the Nursery Practitioner role include:

  • NNEB qualification/NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent
  • Experience of planning activities
  • An excellent understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Proven experience of providing childcare for children in Early Years
  • Experience of observing and recording children’s progress
  • The ability to work in a team
  • Strong spoken and written English skills
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures
